A Dreamy Clifftop Proposal
Two of our best friends just got engaged and we were so honored to share in this moment! Fazad asked Lauren to marry him on a clifftop at sunset in Waterworks Park in Philadelphia behind the Art Museum! It was so dreamy and romantic! Lauren was a bridesmaid in our wedding and now we can’t wait for her own wedding! Fazad and Lauren have been dating for just over 7 years, so when Fazad came to us and asked if we’d be there to photograph his proposal, we knew this was something we couldn’t miss (and then Steph danced for joy in our living room)!
This was the trickiest proposal we’ve photographed to date. Because they were on a clifftop, there was only one way up… meaning we couldn’t just hide there and wait or else she would have seen us. We waited 25 feet away behind a statue and after they were on the cliff, we booked it to the entrance and side of rocky cliff and waited. We were so nervous and our hearts were pounding as we tried our best to stay out of sight until Fazad got down on one knee. Lauren was so surprised and happy when she saw us! We had the most stunning sunset and time to shoot some “just engaged” portraits with them and they turned out beautifully!
