Jon & Sam
We had such an amazing time with Jon & Sam last night at Blue Marsh Lake! It was out second engagement session there in a row. If you remember, we were there a few weeks back with Adam & Megan! This was Jon & Sam’s turn and we were so excited to take what we learned a couple weeks ago and apply it to this session because we were going to be shooting an incredible couple on a boat. It’s so challenging, but we got some amazing photos!
Jon & Sam rocked their session! They are naturals in front of the camera, as well as behind! Sam is actually a wedding photographer and it means so much to us that she is trusting us with her wedding photos! Jon & Sam met way back in high school. She was in drum core and he played the trumpet, but they didn’t start dating until Jon went off to college. They’ve been together ever since, nearly a decade ago! We love photographing couples who have been committed to each other for so long. It’s so sweet! Jon & Sam are modest and can find the love in the simplest of things. Last year Jon proposed to Sam at her work. He showed up and asked her to go to lunch with him with Roses and ring in hand officially making it their first lunch as fiances!
Jon & Sam, we loved spending every second with you guys yesterday! It was so great to meet your parents before the wedding day and for them to let us use your boat! It was so cute and we can’t wait for your wedding next year at Stokesay Castle!! Until then, we hope you like some of our favorites from your engagement session 🙂
