A Classy Fall Evening Engagement in Philadelphia, PA

Mike & Lauren

We had the best time with Mike & Lauren at their fall Philadelphia engagement session down at Race Street Pier by the Ben Franklin Bridge and back on Kelly Drive behind the Art Museum near Waterworks Venue by Cescaphe Event Group. Two of the most gorgeous places in the city and they brought their A-game! We felt an instant connection with these two and time flew by! Look how amazing they look, too! It’s like they stepped right off of a magazine! These two are so sweet, kind, funny and easy to talk to! We felt like we’ve known them forever!

Michael & Lauren met at Penn State University in Spring semester of 2008. They were both in Greek life and his fraternity had Lauren’s sorority over fora social. Mike actually didn’t go out that night, but Lauren and her friend were hanging out with Mike’s roommate and he ended up introducing the two of them! Mike & Lauren began talking and they realized they were both from Northeast Pennsylvania. When Lauren left that night, she told her friends that Mike would be her next boyfriend and here they are 8 years later engaged to be married in July 2017!

Mike & Lauren moved in together in Old City, Philadelphia on June 28th. They live right across the street from Race Street Pier and have the most beautiful view of the river and the Ben Franklin Bridge from their apartment! They had a house warming party on August 20th and Mike said he needed to help his brother and sister in-law get some things out of the car and that he would be right back. Lauren rushed around and made sure everyone had something to eat and drink and before she knew it her Maid of Honor was asking her to help her friends with parking their car. She was glad to get out of the crowded kitchen and get some fresh air, but when she went to the lobby of the building there was a note waiting for her. It was from Mike. IT explained how much he loved her and asked her to meet him at Race Street Pier next to the bridge. She walked a few blocks and up the pier. Candles lined the pier to a bunch of scattered roses and Mike waiting for her with a huge smile across his face. He got down on one knee and asked her to spend forever with him. Of course, she said yes! They’ll be married on July 22, 2017!

Mike & Lauren, we had the best time with you both! So glad we rescheduled your session to yesterday because it was one of the most beautiful days! We love you guys and can’t wait for your wedding, but until then we hope you enjoy some of our favorite images from your engagement session!
