A Fall Wedding At Pearl S. Buck Estate

James & Megan got married on a beautiful fall day at the gorgeous Pearl S. Buck Estate in Perkasie, PA. The trees were starting to turn that beautiful yellow-orange color declaring that fall is here to stay. The light was beautiful and so was Megan. Her dress was simplistic, but so gorgeous, and so her style! She also wore teal shoes that really popped! James really couldn’t help but smile when he turned around and saw his bride for the first time on their wedding day. We’re pretty sure we saw a few tears, too. You could see his love for her all over his face.

After a few portraits with them, we grabbed their two dogs, Eddie & Lana and photographed the entire family. Like us, they’re huge dog lovers and even got some special bowtie collars for their puppies. The only thing that makes wedding days better is when puppies are there! We couldn’t be more excited for these two and are so happy for their new marriage!

We loved watching them get married, share in their first look and their first dance together, but our favorite part of the day might go to a small moment right after their ceremony when James saw his grandmother. She was in a wheel chair and James bent right down to her and gave her a huge long hug for what seemed like minutes. We got her out of the chair and standing up for a few photos of them and she was so happy for James and Megan. She was adorable and it’s clear that James’ relationship with his grandmother is a special one. She sat back in her wheelchair as James knelt down to talk to her some more, before she grabbed him by his face and pulled him in to give him a kiss on the cheek. We love capturing moments like these because they’re moments that need remembering. That might’ve taken the cake for our favorite moment of the day.
