Brad & Mary
A Snowy Engagement in Valley Forge Park
This is the third snowy engagement session I’ve had the chance to shoot this season!! Valley Forge is just so gorgeous in the snow especially with that winter light peeking through the trees. Brad & Mary came all the way here from New Jersey. They were both so much fun to photograph even though by the end our fingers were completely numb and our faces were red. They’re both so sweet, kind and they compliment one another well. Brad is definitely more outgoing whereas Mary is a little shy, but they bring out the best in one another. We loved hearing all about their plans for their wedding at The Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury in New Jersey this fall. It’s going to be an awesome wedding!
Their Engagement Story
Brad & Mary got engaged in January of 2017. They packed their things and took a vacation to Vermont to go snowboarding. It was freezing, but on their first night there in the middle of the snow, they decided to get in the jacuzzi. Brad proposed right there in the negative ten degree weather while they were in their bathing suits. Mary wasn’t even expecting it. Actually, she mentioned that she was oblivious to it leading up to that point even though there were so many clues. Of course she said yes on that chilly, yet beautiful night in snowy Vermont.
To Brad & Mary:
Thanks so much for coming all the way down here to shoot with us! We loved freezing out butts off with you guys and hope you had fun, too! We can’t wait until your wedding, but until then, we hope you enjoy some of our favorites from your engagement session.
