A Boho-Chic Engagement Session in Valley Forge
This was a long time coming. We originally had Ryan & Lauren’s session scheduled a few weeks back. The radar said the rain would come sometime around 6:30pm so we pushed our session up a few hours to squeeze everything in before the downpour. Well… that didn’t go quite as planned. Thirty minutes in and dark clouds appear above us and the wind really picks up. The wind actually kicked so hard that it shook so much pollen off the trees that we all nearly choked on the pollen. It was brutal. But, we were able to snag a few awesome, moody engagement photos before the rain began. So we rescheduled their session for two weeks later.
Once again, we were seeing rain in the forecast from 4pm until the next day. We were supposed to shoot at 6pm. So we cancelled in the morning and rescheduled for two days later. 4pm rolls around and it is hot, humid, but incredibly sunny. The light through the trees is glowing. I checked the radar and no rain in sight, so we last minute re-rescheduled for our original time. And I’m so glad we did because on Sunday… it poured. Ryan & Lauren have serious style goals! We so wish that more people rocked suits and long, chic dresses. Oh, and hats! We love hats! Take notes, guys ’cause these two rocked it! We had the very best time with them and we are so excited for their wedding next year at The Booking House in Manheim, PA!
To Ryan & Lauren:
Thanks so much for being so flexible! We had a blast with you both and it was great grabbing drinks with you, Sam & Andy afterwards. We’re so lucky to have awesome couples, but we love when they turn into friends. We cannot wait for your wedding day, but until then, we hope you love some of our favorites from your engagement session! Oh and if you click here, you can also watch your engagement film!
