A Fall Engagement at Longwood Gardens
Ian & Kate were such a blast to photograph last week at Longwood Gardens! These two are really goofy, fun, and outgoing. They were seriously up for anything we threw there way including some really weird, yet fun prompts and games to get them laughing. Longwood Gardens is starting to become one of my favorite places for engagements. As long as we can avoid the people, have nice weather and beautiful light, it is really an awesome place. They’re getting married next year at The Philander Chase Knox Estate in Valley Forge Park. It’s a venue at which we’ve been dying to photograph a wedding. We’re super excited that it is theirs and we can’t wait!
Their Proposal Story: As Told By Kate
Ian & I got engaged at Longwood Gardens in July 2018! We planned to go on July 1st to see their Fourth of July Fountains and Fireworks show. We arrived early to walk around and see the gardens before the show began. Ian and I walked into the Conservatory around 8pm and as we stood in front of the fountains and gardens inside, he popped the question! About a minute after it happened, I found out that he had his friend take photos of the moment! He also surprised me by having my parents there! It was all so perfect!
To Ian & Kate:
We had such a fun time with you both! Thanks for being so goofy and up for anything. We love the way your photos turned out and the genuine smiles and laughter we were able to capture. We cannot wait for your wedding next year at The Philander Chase Knox Estate and look forward to seeing you both again! Until then, we hope you love some of our favorites from your engagement session.
