A Colorful Fall Engagement at The Philander Chase Knox Estate
It’s finally fall and the leaves are beginning to change to and orange-yellow color that makes the sunset glow even warmer. It was the perfect night for an engagement session with Matt and Molly. We met up at Valley Forge Park near The Philander Chase Knox Estate. It’s our favorite location in the park due to the variety of backdrops. It also has fewer people than somewhere like the memorial arch. Matt and Molly were so much fun to photograph. They put up with all of our crazy games and prompts like champs, completely on board with everything. We love the way their photos turned out! We can’t wait for their wedding next year at John James Audubon Center.
Their Story: As Told By Molly
Matt and I met 12 years ago at a family friend’s Fourth of July party when we were 13 & 14 years old. We dated for quite some time, doing long distance while we were in college, and have been living in the Philly area the past few years. We got engaged last Easter (which also happened to be April fools day)! My family always does an Easter beer hunt (adult easter egg hunt) and Matt hid a bottle of champagne in the hunt. I very excitingly found the said bottle of champagne, looked up and saw him walking towards me and realized everyone was no longer hunting and just staring at us. With both of our families there, he got down on one knee. I was shocked- although we have been together forever, I just didn’t see it coming that day. He got me good!
To Matt & Molly:
We absolutely loved shooting with you guys! We had the most perfect evening for an engagement shoot! Your photos turned out awesome and we really hope you love the video as well! We can’t wait to show you the rest, but until then, we hope you enjoy some of our favorites from your engagement session!
