Hotel DuPont Black Tie Wedding

We’ve been looking forward to Jim & Alyssa’s Hotel DuPont wedding ever since we met them for their engagement session in Cape May last June! Their engagement session was so much fun that we knew the wedding was going to be ten times that. They’re both so sweet and genuine, not to mention completely two of the most photogenic people on the planet. Jim & Alyssa just celebrated their 10 year anniversary three days before their wedding. We know from experience how big of a milestone that is because we celebrated our 10 year anniversary just two days after them. Like us, I’m sure they experienced their ups and downs, highs and lows but through it all has been a love for one another. They’re both a perfect match and we couldn’t be any happier for them!

We loved watching them goof around with each other during portraits and loved their smiles during their first dance. Jim’s dance with his mother was one of my favorite moments to watch because of the joy I had dancing with my mom on my wedding day. Jim’s mother smiled the entire day and she lit up during her dance with her son. The entire day was so beautiful. Jim & Alyssa chose the only day in the last few weeks that it wasn’t freezing cold. The day before it was snowy and the day after it rained. They chose the perfect day.
