Kris + Lacey
Kris and Lacey tied the knot (literally) at their wedding at Pen Ryn Estate! We love seeing symbolic things like this at wedding. Did you know that people say that rain is good luck on your wedding day because a wet knot is much more difficult to untie or break? We just learned this the other day after having two rainy weddings in a row. And despite the added stress and difficulty of shooting in the rain, we actually love all the moments that come from throwing off the plans. Specifically, we love that rain refocuses the couple on why they’re here in the first place. It’s not about the perfect wedding, the perfect weather, or the perfect details. It’s about being the perfect people for each other. Kris and Lacey are definitely a perfect fit and we are so excited for their future together.
Our favorite moment from this wedding was perhaps the first look. Kris looked shocked when seeing Lacey for the first time. We always love a good reaction during first looks or ceremonies, and they did not disappoint. We also loved watching Lacey dance with her father as she looked like she was getting a bit choked up. One of my favorite memories from our wedding is when I got to dance with my mom so I could totally relate to that moment. All in all, it was just a wonderful day full of great people all their to celebrate two lucky people.
