Darshan & Angela
Earlier this week we met up with Darshan and Angela for an incredibly fun spring engagement in Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia, PA. When we asked why Rittenhouse, they said they come here for walks a few times a week and love getting ice cream just around the corner (which we also did this same evening). Darsh and Angela are the sort of couple that make our work better because they just allow things to happen. They go along with all the craziness we throw their way, don’t worry about their hair or the heat, or makeup rubbing off, or running around the city streets in heels. They just let it be, and more importantly, are just together. They connected, smiled, laughed, and didn’t take their hands off each other for the two hours we were shooting. We laughed the entire session and we left feeling so full and happy that this gets to be our job. Photographing them was an absolute joy.
Q: Tell us a bit about the proposal! How did it happen?
Darshan proposed at Rail Park which overlooks the city of Philadelphia. It holds a special place for us as it was one of our first date spots. It was a complete surprise! After the proposal, I was even more surprised by an after-party at Love City Brewing with our families and close friends.
Q: What’s the best part about being engaged?
Knowing I’ll get to marry and spend the rest of my life with my best friend!
Q: Any advice for other couples planning their own wedding?
Enjoy the process and take it as an opportunity to bond with your family!
To Darsh & Angela:
We had the absolute best time with you both. Thank you for trusting us with your photos and bringing us into your life and relationship for the two hours we spent together. Your smiles were infectious and we loved getting to document this special time in your lives and getting to play a role in your story. Thanks for bringing us along. We cannot wait to show you all the photos, but until then, we hope you enjoy this little preview of your spring engagement in Rittenhouse Square!
