Coleman & Julia
This was an absolute dream.
Coleman & Julia officially tied the knot on June 29th during their black-tie wedding at Whitemarsh Valley Country Club. We had the incredible opportunity to photograph a wedding for Julia’s sister, Maria, last September. That was where we officially met Cole & Julia. Working with the Corr family last fall was the highlight of our year and we are so privileged to work and create for them again.
But for the remainder of this blog, I’m just going to steal from the preview I posted on Instagram because I’m not sure I could say it better a second time…
Cole & Julia’s wedding was full of intention, beauty, and so much love that it seeped out onto each and every person they interacted with. Their joy is infectious, and coming in contact with them and their family leaves you wondering, “Are these people real? Or is this a dream?” Each and every single one of them made Steph and I truly feel like family. Like they’d give us the shirt off their backs if we ever needed something. And not out of obligation, but out of true kindness and genuine care for others.
Their faith is precious to them. I’m not sure I know another Christian family that actually embodies those values and loves in a way that penetrates your heart. They make you better by simply being around them as if they call you into greatness, into joy, into a place teeming with life and abundance. After 12 years of shooting, the Corr family has left a lasting impression on us more than any other we’ve photographed. And if you know the Corr family, you get what I mean…
Meeting Cole & The Thompson family and seeing them mesh with the Corrs… well it all just makes sense. It all fits. It is a match made in heaven if I can use a cliché. Cole & Julia, two nerdy accountants from opposite sides of the country fell in love and we’re grateful we got to be there to document Cole & Julia become the new Mr. & Mrs. Thompson.
To Cole & Julia:
You both were an absolute joy to photograph! The love you share and the faith you hold together is inspiring and we are so grateful we had the opportunity to create for you, and for the Corr family again, and finally meet the rest of The Thompsons. Everyone was so lovely and yeah, you all were simply the best to work with and document throughout the weekend. Believe me when I say that there are a lot of photos below, but it is only a fraction of what we’re planning to deliver.
We’re obsessed with each and every image and hope you feel the same way. We can’t wait to show you the rest, but until then, we hope you this preview of your black tie wedding at Whitemarsh Valley Country Club!
