A couple months ago, we were given the opportunity to put together a styled shoot! We were able to collaborate with an amazing team of creatives who made this dream shoot possible! The amazing Christen Allocco designed the invites and RSVPs along with creating the flowers & bouquet and setting up the day of. She was a powerhouse! Then the wonderful Nicolette Anderson helped with set up and shot the lovely video below! I (Josiah) did the baking and I must say that I make some darn good cake & cupcakes, however, Christen made the frosting. Hair and makeup was artfully done by Chelsea Nettleton on Joe & Ashley, our fabulous models! They’ve been married for a while already, but they jumped at the chance to help us out. They are such selfless people and are always willing to help with an art project. We were even able to invite a few other photographers to come out and shoot with us! The day was amazing!
The style we wanted to shoot was an elegant, classy feel, with earthy tones and a slight rustic feel and I believe we captured that perfectly. First Landing State Park is such a magical place to shoot in the late afternoon. We chose a royal blue for the invites and general decor to match with the green and browns of the forest and the white of her dress. The blue added a classy feel to the shoot.
We loved this styled shoot and before we get to all the photos, we just want to say thank you to everyone who helped and was a part of this process. It was a ton of hard work to put together, but it was so worth it in the end! Thank you all!
