Pedro & Maggie
Maggie & Pedro came all the way to Philly from Connecticut for their engagement session with us! They brought their wedding planner, Meena from 5th Avenue Weddings and their friend, TK-44375. We had such an awesome time with them shooting around the Philadelphia Art Museum (Yes, where Rocky ran up the steps). The place is gorgeous and has so many unique spots!
Maggie & Pedro met through Match.com. Pedro kept sending Maggie “winks” and she kept ignoring them. But one day Maggie decided to “wink” back and email Pedro. She simply told him that she liked his tattoos (His tattoos are pretty cool, we must say). Next thing they know they are talking back and forth and found out they both share a birthday! May 15th (on the same year!)! 5/15 has become an inside joke for them. They dated for a year, moved in together and had a baby in addition to Pedro’s son. After five years, Pedro & Maggie went on a Christmas Cruise with their moms and kids. On 12/21 they were in Grand Cayman Islands all day and had dinner plans that night. Before dinner they had some formal photos taken of them on the island. While the photographer was taking a picture of Maggie posed with what he thought was an engagement ring (it wasn’t), Pedro came out of nowhere and said, “I think you need a better ring than that,” and got down on one knee and asked her to marry him! The rest is history.
Pedro & Maggie (And Meena & TK-44375), we loved spending the evening with you guys! It was so much fun and we can honestly say we’ve never photographed another engagement session quite like it! It was the perfect day and we cannot wait for your Star Wars inspired wedding next August! It’s going to be, should we say, out of this world!
