A Fall Engagement at the Philadelphia Museum of Art

John & Mallori

Oh, do we have an engagement session for you! Once again, we’re at the Philadelphia Museum of Art (one of our favorite spots!). We had the best time with John & Mallori! From the moment we met them a few months back, we knew they were such a good fit with us. During their engagement they couldn’t help but smile and laugh with each other and with us. We got to spend the most perfect fall day (seriously 75 and sunny) with an awesome couple who is so in love and couldn’t help but giggle with each other the entire time! They brought their A game and we’re so excited to show you these images!

The Story:

It was a normal afternoon in the spring of 2014 and in walks this beautiful blonde girl named Mallori. John immediately spit out the Chinese food he was devouring for lunch and tried his hardest to muster up a respectable introduction without a side of General Tso chicken or fried rice making an appearance. To his surprise, Mallori found his reaction charming. John knew she was a keeper when their first date was for wings and beer down in Manayunk. On the way to dinner there was never a second of silence or dull moment. They explained that they were so comfortable from the start and learned way more about each other than they probably should have! Over the next year and a half John & Mallori spent a lot of time getting to know each other, both as friends and intimately. The summer MaIlori moved home from school was when John knew that things were getting more serious. It was a gorgeous summer day. John & Mallori spent it hiking in Bushkill Falls. It was there that they simultaneously realized that we needed to spend our lives together. From that point forward everything seemed to shift from two lives moving along side by side and coming to one. It was on Christmas Eve 2015 that John handed her the last ornament to put on the tree. While she inspected it, John got down on one knee and opened the ornament. Inside was a ring and it was there on Christmas Eve that John asked her to be his wife!

John & Mallori, we had the best time with you guys and are so happy the rain held out until the very end! You guys did such an amazing job and we cannot wait to see you both again! Until then, we hope you enjoy some of our favorites from your engagement session!
