Navy & Blush Summertime Wedding at The Barn On Bridge

One of our goals as wedding photographers is to leave the wedding day feel like we’ve become good friends with our couples. Kevin & Lindsay are certainly considered friends. We only first met them two months ago at their engagement session, but we think the world of them! They’re both so joyful, easy going and fun to talk with. They also have great taste in music! Their wedding night playlist was incredible, too since it wasn’t filled with the generic songs you hear every single wedding. It was so refreshing! Kevin & Lindsay got married at the same venue we were married at in June 2015. The Barn on Bridge in Collegeville, PA is one of our favorite venues and we always feel a special connection to the couples we photograph there. Their summertime wedding really popped with gorgeous navy blues, blush pinks and beautiful greens. Lindsay’s dress was simplistic, elegant and beautiful.

We checked the weather 6 days before the wedding. The forecast called for rain. We loaded up the trunk of our car with umbrellas, preparing for the worst. We checked the forecast every day leading up the wedding. Lindsay was freaking out, as well, we’re sure! The forecast seemed to shift a little bit everyday until it showed zero rain and sunny skies all afternoon and evening. We got the most beautiful day of 70s and blue skies! One of our favorite parts of the wedding day was watching their first look. This is a favorite most of the time, but this one really stuck out to us because Kevin physically couldn’t control himself. His reaction to seeing his bride for the first time is so sweet and makes us a little emotional. We can’t help but smile as we look at these images.
