Billy & Jenn
An Engagement at Sunset in Valley Forge National Park
We met Billy & Jenn at Valley Forge on one of the nicest days of August we’ve had so far this year. The rain that weekend cooled things off and while it was still a bit humid, it was by far more tolerable than it is usually. Billy & Jenn also brought their 13 week old lab puppy named Monica or “Monnie” as Jenn calls her. She was adorable! Apparently, she’s in the biting phase right now and she still has those sharp puppy teeth. Her adorableness outweighs her ferociousness by far. Billy & Jenn were a bit nervous at the start, but who isn’t? They got into the swing of things and by the end of the session they were shouting random foods in a field as part of a fun little game we played. It was all laughs the whole session. We had such a great time with them and their new puppy!
Their Engagement Story // Told By Jenn
We started dating in March 2008, but it wasn’t until December 2015 that we finally got engaged! I am a big family person and Billy knew that. So he proposed in front of my entire family. My parents, siblings, aunts/uncles, cousins, and even grandparents. My family has an annual ugly sweater Christmas party where we have a Pollyanna/white elephant. Billy and my sister had it rigged so my name was called first and as I was picking my present, I turned around to Billy being down on one knee and asking me to marry him!
To Billy & Jenn
We loved spending that afternoon with you both in Valley Forge! Thanks for being so much fun and bringing your adorable dog with you! She was so cute! We can’t wait for your wedding at the Marion Tribute House next year! Until then, we hope you enjoy some of our favorites from your engagement session!
