A Colorful Fall Engagement at Bowman Hill Wildflower Preserve
We had such a fun time with Alex & Jen this week during their engagement session at Bowman Hill Wildflower Preserve in New Hope. They showed up with their puppy, Tucker! The three of us just wandered around Bowman Hill Wildflower Preserve for a while. It was such a beautiful spot for an engagement session. The leaves were so colorful with yellows and reds adding a lot of great color to these images. Alex & Jen were a little nervous at first, but after we played a few games, they were up for anything! They’re both so sweet and genuine and they were all smiles! We can’t wait for their wedding at Huntingdon Valley Country Club next November.
Their Engagement Story: As Told By Jen
Alex proposed on August 12th. It was his birthday weekend, so he suggested we go to a wine tasting at Crossing Vineyards in Newtown. After the wine tasting, an employee asked if we wanted a tour of the grounds. As we walked around the vineyard, we turned a corner and I noticed a boy with a guitar standing a few feet away, and a table set up with champagne and chocolate. The boy started to play, and the second I realized it was our song (She’s Got This Thing About Her by Chris Young), I turned around and Alex was on his knee. He even got a photographer to capture the moment! After some ugly crying and champagne, he took me to his parent’s house where he surprised me with my closest family and friends. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!
To Alex & Jen:
We had such a great time with you two, and Tucker this week at your engagement session! We cannot wait for your wedding next year, but until then we hope you enjoy some of our favorites from your engagement session!!
