A Navy & Maroon Winter Wedding at Normandy Farms

Andy & Sam kicked off our 2018 wedding season with a gorgeous navy & maroon winter wedding at Normandy Farm Hotel & Conference Center in Blue Bell, PA! It’s a gorgeous venue filled with dark woods and rustic interiors, and silos and quaint buildings at the exterior. It’s lovely little place. By little, I really mean gigantic because this place has tons of hotel rooms, a restaurant and multiple ballrooms. It’s a wonderful place for a wedding, especially in winter. Don’t even get me started on the food. Andy & Sam’s wedding was so fun and really set the bar high for the rest of our 2018 weddings.

It was pretty chilly out. The car thermometer read somewhere around 30 with a solid wind chill of 20-25. Andy & Sam were committed though and put up with the freezing temperatures for about an hour so we could knock out some beautiful portraits right after their first look. Their bridal party was even up for the freezing cold weather as we knocked out those bridal party shots as fast as we could, because, well, my hands were starting to turn red and freeze. Totally worth it! We love the way these images turned out.

Favorite Moments

We always love watching first dance moments. It’s really the first moment the bride and groom get to be together without anyone bothering them (even though they are the center of attention) where they can talk and share their first dance as husband and wife. The smiles are always so genuine and it’s such a joyful moment. Same goes for parent dances. We loved watching Sam laugh with her dad and Andy laugh with his mom. The moment was just beautiful and real and we loved that.

Thank you so much for freezing with us! They turned out so great and I knew it’d be worth freezing over. We had such a wonderful time with you both and are so excited for you!
