A Navy & Blush Black Tie Wedding at Bluestone Country Club

Patrick & Emily shared in one of the most beautiful celebrations of marriage and love last weekend at St. Genevieve in Flourtown and Bluestone Country Club in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. It was warm, but not overbearing with sunny, blue skies. You could feel the excitement and nervousness from each of them as they got ready. Most of all, a sense of love and joy filled the atmosphere around them. Both Patrick & Emily are authentic and genuine. They are passionate educators, hard workers, and family oriented. Patrick was a blur as he hopped around from conversation to conversation throughout the cocktail hour and reception. They looked so thankful for each and every person that showed up to celebrate with them.

Our favorite moment from the wedding day might’ve been hearing Father Lowe speak about the kind of people these two are. It was a very personal and emotional ceremony that really touched us; people who haven’t spent more than a few hours with the couple. Hearing from someone who knew Patrick since birth, baptized him, watched him grow up and now considers him a good friend, speak about the joys and hardships that he has faced in the passed few years was beautiful. He then spoke about meeting Emily and afterwards said that Patrick better marry this girl. Their compassion for people and love for one another is apparent. We loved watching them interact with each other the entire day, laughing and smiling during their ceremony and singing to one another during their first dance. It was adorable.
