A Navy & Maroon Rustic Summer Wedding at Yarborough Mills

Our first wedding in the Atlanta region was so much fun! Yarborough Mills was unbelievably gorgeous, despite it’s lack of air conditioning. If you’re thinking of getting married in a place without AC, definitely plan for a wedding between September-November or you could go earlier in the year like a March or April. October will give you those gorgeous fall colors though so we’re a fan of that! Richard & Kate chose an awesome venue, to say the least. Not just that, but their colors and details were perfect for this location. The cranberry/maroon dresses and flowers pop off the screen and navy blue really classes things up. We heard audible gasps when Kate came into view during the ceremony as everyone saw her in her dress for the first time. We think her dress may be one of our favorites from all of 2018. It suited her perfectly!

I went to college with Kate & Richard. We were all in the film program together. I remember writing and shooting a lot of scripts with Kate and just hanging out having an awesome time on and off set. Her and Richard now live in Atlanta and work their butts off in the film industry. Super proud of them and all of my other friends in Atlanta getting at it and working their butts off! I was so excited when Kate reached out about photographing her wedding! It truly didn’t disappoint!
