A Colorful Summer Wedding at Aldie Mansion
Photographing weddings is always made a little more special when you get do it for friends and people you’ve known for years. Julia and I (Josiah) attended high school together and although we were never super close friends, it really meant a lot when she reached out asking if we’d photograph her special day at Aldie Mansion. Looking back to those teenage years and thinking about being someone who would get to tell her wedding day story. Tyler & Julia are so sweet and watching them celebrate with one another was beautiful. It also meant I got to see some other old high school friends.
Tyler and Julia set a new record for us by having the largest wedding party, possibly in history. There was 13 bridesmaids and 13 groomsmen, plus the bride and groom. If your not math inclined, that’s a total of 28 people in the bridal party! That is humongous and while it might’ve been a little challenging to photograph, it really is a testament to their character. They are so friendly and welcoming to everyone. They’re a couple that you would stand by for life. It was visibly apparent how much their friends love them.
To Tyler & Julia:
We are so, so happy for you guys! Thanks for trusting us with your photos. We really hope you love them as much as we do. We cannot wait to get you the rest of your images, but until then, we hope you love this little preview!
