Kyle + Jess’ engagement session at Ridley Creek State Park was originally planned for right after Christmas, but we were met with some questionable weather. We decided to cancel and use the back up date we scheduled, and let me tell you, we’re so happy we switched because this time we had nearly 70 degree weather! It was the most beautiful January day for an engagement session. We chose Hunting Hill Mansion as the backdrop for their session. This place is one of our all time favorite spots in the area. You’ll see what we mean when you look at the photos!
What makes this session even more special is that Kyle and Steph have known each other for years. Actually, they’ve known each other nearly since birth. Their mom’s were and still are close friends to this day. Steph spent countless New Years Eve’s and celebrations with Kyle and his family. Whether it was trips to Knoebels or attending a middle school dance with one another (before Steph and I were together), they have a lot of shared memories. We were really excited when they reached out about their wedding because it’s another moment that we get to celebrate with them.
Kyle and Jess, we cannot wait for your big day! We had so much fun with you at your engagement session, and your wedding day will be even better! Until then, we hope you enjoy some of our favorites from your engagement!
