Nick + Victoria
We had the chance to photograph Nick + Victoria’s springtime Valley Forge engagement session last week and it did not disappoint. We had some incredible light, and some of the best weather we’ve had so far this year! Not to mention these two did such an amazing job in front of camera. After that first 20 minute awkward phase that everyone goes through, they just completely opened up and decided to embrace all the crazy weird (and fun) prompts I gave them. The result is just pure joy and real smiles.
Q: How did you guys get engaged?
We got engaged on July 4th of 2020. Nick told me that his family was having a small BBQ and for my family to join. I walked into his backyard with my parents and grandmother to find my three brothers, Nicks family and all of our closest friends there watching. There was a pathway of white rose pedals, candles, and string lights leading to Nick. I walked down the path to find him down in one knee. It was so exciting and I had no idea it was going to happen because we were in the midst of the pandemic!
Q: What piece of advice would you share for other couples who are planning their own wedding?
The best part of being engaged is the excitement and the planning so our best advice would just be not to rush and enjoy every moment of being engaged!
To Nick + Victoria:
You guys did such an awesome job in front of camera! Thanks for coming all the way down to the Philly area for your springtime Valley Forge engagement session. We really cannot wait for your wedding next year! It’s going to be such an incredible weekend. We are so thrilled with how your photos turned out! We can’t wait to share the finished gallery with you, but until then we hope you enjoy some of our favorites from your engagement session!
