River House at Odette’s Wedding

Colin and Julia had one of the most lovely little weddings in New Hope, Pennsylvania last weekend. Their River House at Odette’s wedding was so beautiful. To say that these two made our job of capturing beautiful images easy would be an understatement. First off, Julia had a huge smile on her face the entire day. She could not contain her excitement for even a moment. Second, her and Colin are practically models and from their style, their smiles, their physicality and chemistry with one another paired with just flat out good looks, they made photographing them so fun! It’s always a good sign when the couple keeps holding each other close, even after we’ve told them they can relax from the pose their in. This was the case a few times with Colin and Julia. Heck, they even started posing themselves before we started to because they just naturally fit together so well. It was adorable.

We loved watching and capturing so many beautiful moments. There are too many to count; whether it was a quick holding of hand between Julia and her mom, to a brief hug between Colin and his new father-in-law, or the very cute and fast nephew who would find his way into the middle of our frame. We loved every second of this wedding. It was certainly one to remember, and at times wasn’t always perfect, but it was definitely memorable. Right as the ceremony was to start, it started to rain. Such is life and this is the second time this has happened to us in the last week. Thankfully, Julia had the courage to say “lets wait it out” and within 10 minutes, it cleared up and we were good to go. That was a great decision as the sunset came out right before they were announced as husband and wife. It was a beautiful day from beginning to end.
