Hayden & Amanda
We had the privilege of photographing Hayden and Amanda’s rainy backyard wedding in Pottstown last weekend on their horse farm in Pottstown, PA. Despite the dreary weather and rain, it was such a wonderful day. We were actually pretty lucky as it was definitely the nicest day of the weekend with Friday and Sunday being hard rainfall for most of the day. We found some gaps in the rain on Saturday and were able to get through the ceremony, family photos, bridal party, and couple’s portraits before the rain picked back up again just before we left.
We loved photographing these two because they prioritized each other and their wedding over all else. They shared personal vows to one another, getting married in their driveway under a tent and kept it very small and intimate. We were able to take almost fully documentary approach to this wedding day just photographing things as they happened and giving very little direction. It was so refreshing and we think the photos really reflect them, their feelings, and how wonderful their wedding day was.
