Spring Wedding at Terrain Del-Val

David + Regina

The sweetest couple got married last weekend! David and Regina’s beautiful spring wedding at Terrain Del-Val was one of the most chill weddings with two of the sweetest people on the planet. Dave and Regina are the exact types of couples we love working with: two people who are present with each other at their wedding and don’t care much about the dress getting dirty or being a little chilly. Seriously, at one point Regina said “I’m warm with love,” and that “the dress is just a dress.” C’mon, I’m warm with love should really be the title of the blog post. But that sums these two up. They bring so much warmth and love and joy to everyone they are around. Both of their smiles light up a room, and can immediately make your day better. Their friends were the same way, and their families were so inviting and welcoming to our team. Regina’s dad even offered me (Josiah) a beer on the trolly (which I gladly accepted) and I got to toast with the group to Regina and Dave’s marriage. They allowed us to truly feel like part of the day, not just as photographers, but as people and friends. And that is our goal, to be friends first and photographers second.

There are way too many moments to consider a favorite. First, seeing Regina jump out of her makeup chair to hug us when we arrived is one. Another is seeing them sneak off into a room after they left their ceremony and from the church lobby we could feel their joy and excitement. And honestly, just photographing them experience their day where they were as present as possible was a joy. They soaked up a moment and that is what we want for every couple we work with because the day goes so fast.

You both have been so wonderful to work with! Thank you for trusting us with your photos and video. And to your family and friends, thank you for being so welcoming and allowing us strangers to feel more like friends, and to get up in your space. We truly hope you love the photos as much as we do.
