Preston & Hannah
Some engagement sessions just feel like a perfect date night. Preston and Hannah’s pizza shop engagement in Old City, Philadelphia, was exactly that.
We met outside Little Nonna’s, the cozy Italian spot where they had their first date. The amazing staff let us inside before opening, giving us a quiet, intimate space to capture the start of their story. Next, we strolled down to Paulie Gee’s Soul City Slice Shop. There’s nothing better than pizza and beer during an engagement session. Preston and Hannah grabbed a slice, clinked their glasses, and laughed their way through some effortlessly fun photos.
After a quick outfit change, we hopped in an Uber and headed to the Independence Hall area. The historic cobblestone streets and open grass provided a timeless, classic backdrop. The crisp October air and golden sunset light made every moment feel magical.
We ended the session at The Book Trader, a dream location for book lovers. The store overflowed with endless stacks of used books, creating an intimate and whimsical setting. Wandering the aisles, flipping through pages, and stealing sweet moments between the shelves made for some of our favorite shots of the day.
Preston and Hannah are an absolute joy to be around. Their love is natural, easy, and filled with laughter. We can’t wait to celebrate their wedding later this year at Union Trust Ballroom! If this pizza shop engagement in old city was any indication, their big day is going to be unforgettable.
