Johnny & Rachel
We met Johnny and Rachel at Jaffa Bar, a favorite date spot of theirs for a spring engagement in Fishtown. They were kind enough to open up a little early for us to shoot before their customers arrived. The cozy atmosphere was the perfect starting point for their engagement session. Johnny & Rachel instantly brought so much joy and energy, making our job incredibly fun.
Engagement Session Around Fishtown
From there, we strolled through their neighborhood streets, stopping outside some of their favorite restaurants. These two are huge foodies! Fishtown provided a colorful backdrop, full of character and charm. Johnny and Rachel’s laughter echoed down the streets as they leaned into each other, showing just how much fun they always have together.
They kept the session simple, sticking to one outfit each. Rachel looked stunning in a white top paired with casual jeans, a look that felt both relaxed and very bridal. Johnny’s olive trousers and black knitted polo perfectly complemented her style. Their color palette felt timeless and popped beautifully against the urban textures of the city.
Photographing them was effortless. Their giggles never stopped, and their fun-loving personalities brought every image to life. They clearly adore each other, and that connection made every candid moment shine. Sessions like this remind us why we love photographing couples. It’s always been about documenting real love and genuine laughter.
We wrapped the evening at La Colombe, another frequented spot of theirs. Coffee in hand, they snuggled up for the final shots of the night. It was the perfect ending to a session that truly captured their relationship.
Johnny and Rachel are not only sweet and kind but also incredibly fun to be around. We’re beyond excited to celebrate their wedding next year at The Lilah in Fishtown. If their spring engagement in Fishtown was any preview, their wedding day is going to be an unforgettable party!
