Featured on The Learned Bride

Today we have the privilege of Jeremy & Rachel’s West Chester Engagement being featured on The Learned Bride!

Rachel and Jeremy met in college at West Chester University through a local church that they attended. At the time, Rachel was a freshman and Jeremy was a senior. The first time they ever talked and hung out was at a table in the bottom floor of the school’s library. Rachel had a huge crush on Jeremy, but he thought she was too young, so he tried to set her up with one of his friends, which could have turned out to be the biggest mistake of his life! Fortunately, Rachel didn’t comply with his senseless offer, and she later found out that Jeremy liked her too. Rachel and Jeremy then officially began dating four months later, on Easter in 2012. They dated for three years, during which Rachel continued her education at West Chester University and Jeremy took a job as a youth pastor in South Jersey, not far from Rachel’s hometown. In August 2014, Rachel started up school for her last semester of undergraduate studies. Jeremy asked her on a date the first week back to school to kick off the new year. He planned to take her to the restaurant where they went on their very first date. But he also had a bigger plan in mind. When he arrived to pick her up, they went on a semi-awkward walk around their college campus, towards the library where they first spent time together. As Jeremy clutched the ring in his pocket, he could barely muster up the words. His plan was to have a nice long drawn out speech about how he had almost made the biggest mistake of his life by trying to set her up with another guy. What ended up coming out was just a jumbled up bunch of nervous words before he got down on one knee and proposed to her at the same place where they first hung out and almost let her go. After a couple minutes of hugging and crying, they went on a tour to show all her of friends, then ate dinner at the restaurant and met some friends to celebrate the evening!
