Brett & Ashley

Brett & Ashley chose a perfect day for their fall engagement session in the cute, quaint town of West Chester where they currently live with their dog, Romeo! He is so cute and loves his treats! We loved wandering the town just chatting and getting to know each other, stopping for beautiful light, using two separate churches as back drops and searching for the perfect alley way… and we have to mention the lady who nearly scared the living daylights out of us next to the alley as she opens her window and reaches her arm out to grab her mail and then proceeded to ask what we were doing. Never a dull day shooting!

Brett and Ashley have been together for 4 years and met in class at West Chester University before graduating together in 2014! Brett’s birthday is May 19 and his only request was to visit the beach, rain or shine. He wanted them to see a glimpse of summer to keep him and Ashley going strong for the remainder of the school year at their teaching jobs. Little did Ashley know, his plan was much bigger. They arrived at Higbee Beach in Cape May May 22, 2016. They strolled onto the beach with their dog, Romeo, who wore a brand new dog tag made specifically for this moment. “Ashley will you marry me,” was engraved on the tag that hung from the collar around Romeo’s neck. Dog is definitely man’s best (wing) man! The whole experience sounds truly magical!
