A Summertime Cape May Engagement Session
We love Cape May! It’s a beautiful little beach town that pops with it’s quaint charm and vibrant colors. Bed & Breakfasts are around every corner as you get closer to the beachfront. The fact that a Kohr Bro’s Ice Cream Shop or an Uncle Bill’s Pancake House is only a few minutes away and pair that with the sounds of the ocean, a cocktail and friends and you have yourself a perfect vacation. We ventured down to Cape May for what felt like a little mini-vacation even though we were *technically* working. But we had all of those factors I just mentioned during our trip so it was vacation as far as we’re concerned. Jim & Alyssa chose Cape May because they just loved the aesthetic.
We split the session into two parts: Downtown Cape May and The Beach. Like them, their photos are so charming and you can’t help but smile when looking at them. These two are the sweetest and so much fun. Jim & Alyssa have been together for almost ten full years. Actually, their ten year anniversary comes 3 days before their wedding date and just 2 days before our own ten year anniversary. Jim proposed to Alyssa at the very end of July last year. They finished dinner down in the city and decided to walk to their favorite post-dinner bar in Rittenhouse Square for a drink. But Jim stopped and asked her to marry him right there in Rittenhouse. Of course, she said yes! Jim then lead her to the bar where their entire families were waiting for them to celebrate! It sounds like such a perfect day!
To Jim & Alyssa:
We cannot wait to celebrate with you both next March! Thank you for trusting us with your photos! We had the very best time with you and cannot wait to see you again. Until then, we hope you love all of our favorites from your engagement session.
