3 Of Our Favorite Wedding Planners

We often don’t work with planners. Often times we end up taking on the role of partial wedding coordinator on the wedding day and keeping things on time and making sure everyone is where they need to be. It happens, but man, when we get to work with a good planner that has our back and everything under control, it makes our job so much easier! For that reason, we highly recommend getting a planner. It will help us do our jobs better, but will also take so much stress off of you. Planners are people who know the ins and outs of what goes into every wedding. They’ve done this countless times before and where you might get stressed in the planning process, they know exactly what needs to be done.

When we started thinking about who are a few of our favorite wedding planners we’ve had the chance to work with over the last couple years, we started thinking about the process of working alongside them. They made the process easier for us, for our couples, and created a connection and built a relationship not only with our couple but also with us, even if that relationship was brief. They made us feel important and wanted the very best for us. The three planners we’ve had the best time working with are:

Kyle Michelle Weddings

We have had the chance to work with Kyle + Michelle weddings a few times over the last few years. They’re one of our favorite planners to work with because they’re an incredibly personal team. They make the wedding planning process a breeze! Working with them during Matt + LeeAnn’s wedding in 2016 was such a joy. Getting the chance to work alongside them again at Steve + Jacqueline’s Cape May wedding in 2017 made our jobs so much easier. There was a lot of travel and moving around for that wedding. Having them around seriously saved us so much stress. They communicated so well and made sure we know what was happening every step of the way.

DPNAK Weddings

We worked with Danielle of DPNAK Weddings for the 1st time in 2019 at Max + Katie’s backyard farm wedding and we really hope it won’t be the last. From the get-go, we were amazed at the level of organization that Danielle put into the planning process. She sent Max + Katie, and us a master timeline that had addresses, start times, details, and literally everything we ever needed to know. It made our planning process with the bride completely irrelevant because Danielle had that part under control. It was incredible! On the wedding day, she helped us with family portrait organization, and made sure we ate. If you’re a photographer, you know that’s a huge deal. She is without doubt one of our favorite planners to work with and she totally needed to make this list!

5th Avenue Weddings

Last, and most certainly not least, is Meena from 5th Avenue Weddings. As far as wedding planners go, let me just say that Meena is the master. She will handle the most difficult of tasks with ease and make sure your wedding goes off without a hitch. We worked with Meena during one of our all time favorite weddings with Pedro + Maggie. Working with Meena made our lives and Maggie + Pedro’s lives so much easier. She wasn’t just a planner, but a florist as well and completely rocked the flowers. Meena wears so many hats and just somehow can pull it off and make magic. She was a serious lifesaver and we can’t thank her enough for all of her hard work. Fingers crossed we’ll get to work together again someday.
