3 Wedding Favor Ideas

It’s common to start planning your wedding favors and all of a sudden you’re finding it’s more expensive than expected. Maybe you are just having a hard time coming up with ideas for the favors. How personal do you make it? Do you keep it simple or get a bit crazy with it? Wedding favors are a small gift the couple gives the guests as a thank you, but sometimes they have nothing to do with the wedding or the couple. The favors Josiah & I gave were gray m&ms and yellow chocolate covered sunflower seeds. They matched our wedding colors, but that is where it ends. There are so many different favors that can represent you and be memorable for your guests. Below are a few ideas we’ve seen at weddings and have truly loved!

Donation to Organization or Pet Rescue

All that money that is spent on favors and for what? To be eaten and forgotten about or thrown away? Instead, what if you take the money and donate it to your favorite organization or a pet rescue? Your guests can appreciate your donation on their behalf and it’s going to help someone else! It’s a win for everyone. In need of a pet rescue to donate to? We rescued our dog, Chance, from All 4 Paws in Malvern, PA. Just sayin’ 🙂

Seeds Or Plants

Having a favor as a plant or seeds gives the receiver the opportunity to take that gift home and plant those seeds. Then when the plant begins to grow and bloom they will always remember where they got it. Plus, you’ll be helping promote a cleaner earth. That’s always good, right?

Glasses or Mugs

Everyone uses a cup at some point in their day why not have a cup that reminds them of your special day! We have seen some amazing mugs that Steph drinks out of regularly. This is a great way to express your love for coffee (if you and your fiancé are coffee or tea drinkers)! We have seen coffee beans or K-cups or even tea bags (If you are like Josiah and don’t like coffee) placed inside the cups for your guests.

These are just a few ideas of ways to spice of your favors! Make it meaningful, something that represents you, something you guests will love enjoy!
