I am apologizing in advance for the insane amount of photos I selected for Tom + Kate’s blog. There are so many photos and I just couldn’t narrow it down any further! Tom + Kate’s backyard wedding celebration in West Chester, PA was just beautiful! We had the most gorgeous light for portraits of them in Valley Forge. They also lucked out with some of the most wonderful fall weather I’ve ever experienced. It was truly a perfect day.
Tom + Kate decided to make the difficult decision to postpone their larger wedding celebration until October 2021 due to the pandemic. We are so thankful they decided to still get married in 2020 on their original date! We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: You get engaged to get married, not to have a wedding, although, we understand that having the wedding is a lot of fun!
Our favorite part throughout the day was watching Tom + Kate share in their first dance. They danced on the deck with all of their guests on the ground below. String lights were lit all around the deck and it was just a beautiful moment in a unique spot which made it really fun for us to photograph.
