We had such a wonderful time with Eddie + Sammy a while back for their wedding and maternity portraits in Valley Forge Park. It’s not often that we only photograph wedding portraits. That said, I loved not having any of the stress that comes with photographing the rest of the day. We were originally supposed to photograph Eddie + Sammy’s engagement session back in June. But as you know, life likes to throw little curveballs (especially in 2020).
This curveball was on the more joyous side. Eddie + Sammy let us know in the summer that they were expecting! They decided not to wait until after Covid dissipates. Instead, they chose to tie the knot in the morning and have portraits taken in the evening. This was definitely the first combined wedding/maternity portrait session we’ve done, and it was such a fun time!
Eddie + Sammy are both so sweet and funny. We’re convinced they’re going to be terribly fun parents. Not to mention they’re both super photogenic and so we’re assuming their new baby will be blessed with that same ability to not take a bad photo. On top of that, these two are both dedicated and hard working in their jobs and their relationship to one another. We believe that they’ll be amazing parents and incredible role model to their new baby who is on their way soon.
To Eddie + Sammy:
Thanks for sticking with us and having us photograph such a huge milestone in your lives. Ya’ll showed up looking super fly and we could not be more excited for you both. We can’t wait to see the update and first photos you share of your new baby. Lastly, we truly hope you love these photos as much as we do.
