Justin + Rachel
We traveled up to New York City a while back to photograph Justin and Rachel’s beautiful micro wedding at Bottino. They originally planned to celebrate with all of their friends and family, but after the pandemic pushed their wedding back, they decided to still officially become husband and wife. This is what we’ve been saying from the beginning. A wedding is just a day. Your marriage is a lifetime. Justin and Rachel were married in the back patio of Bottino in the Chelsea gallery district in New York City.
It was a beautiful day for a wedding! We loved roaming the side streets for a bit before the ceremony began to capture some portraits of these two. It was actually almost a year to the day that we were in New York photographing their engagement session in Central Park. We’re excited to get the chance to spend some more time with them in 2021 for their larger celebration. One of our favorite moments from their wedding was watching them try to hold back their emotions during their vows. Rachel actually just started laughing at herself as tears started to roll down her cheeks. It was a beautiful moment and made everyone else in the room laugh along with them.
