Eric + Caitlin
Like many before them, this wedding was a bit different than what Eric + Caitlin had originally planned for their wedding. Instead of the bigger, more traditional wedding, they shared their vows on a private property in Saylorsburg, PA with some of their closest friends and family members present. We’ve said this since the beginning: Don’t let the pandemic stop you from getting married. Your marriage is more important than a party. It’s more important than a single day. You don’t get engaged for a wedding. You become engaged for marriage. So Eric + Caitlin did just that and got married and next year they’ll get to have the big party.
Eric, Caitlin + Steph attended college together at West Chester University where they were members of the marching band. Eric & Steph were also members of Kappa Kappa Psi on campus. We shared in their engagement blog that Eric and Caitlin met during their time at West Chester University years ago. They just happened to be neighbors that were randomly assigned by West Chester Housing (Way to go WCU)! Their first date was to Laurence which was the large dining hall on campus, but technically, their official first date off campus was to the sketchy Chinese place on High Street. And you know what they say, the rest is history.
Eric proposed to Caitlin at a wolf sanctuary in Lititz, PA on a moonlight tour. Apparently he was a nervous wreck. Speaking as someone who’s proposed, I totally get it! Feels like your heart is about to jump out of your chest. Of course, Caitlin said yes to Eric despite his nerves.
To Eric + Caitlin:
We loved photographing your micro wedding in Saylorsburg and meeting all of your close friends and family this past weekend. You had the best weather you could have possibly hoped for in March, and we really love the way the photos turned out! We can’t wait to do this all over again in 2022 with you guys, but until then, we hope you enjoy some of our favorites from you first wedding day.
