Downtown Easton Engagement Session

Kris + Lacey

We had a wonderful time with Kris + Lacey during their downtown Easton engagement session. They did such an incredible job in front of camera. These two were so easy to talk to and just made the entire process so easy. We are currently in that sweet spot of the year in the Philly area where the weather is the best it’s ever gonna’ get and we had such awesome weather during their session. That weather made it so enjoyable to walk around the entire town finding spots to shoot. We got a full tour of Easton from Kris + Lacey and shot in front of places like the Centre Square, The Crayola Factory and down at the river front. It was such a fun time and these two were both naturals in front of the lens. We can’t wait to shoot with them again next year during their wedding!

Q: How did Kris propose?

For my 23rd birthday, Kris surprised me with Celine Dion tickets. Celine Dion is my absolute favorite singer of all time, so of course I was over the moon. I had to wait six long months for the concert, but I would soon find out that it was worth the wait. On February 26th 2020, we attended the concert. I was of course a roller coaster of emotions to begin with because Celine Dion was in front of me. I was recording videos of my favorite songs not expecting what was going to happen next. During Celine’s song “Power of Love,” as I was recording Kris got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was completely surprised. I have waited for this moment for what feels like forever. My heart was so full. It was so special, and I couldn’t have imagined a better night. It was truly magical.

Q: What’s the best part about being engaged?

Our favorite part is talking about being married and planning the wedding together!

Q: Any advice for other couples planning their wedding?

Enjoy every moment. It goes by so quickly. You are planning your forever. It is truly magical. Always ask for each other’s opinions. It is your day to enjoy together.
