Daniel + Marie’s black tie wedding at Hotel du Village was so beautiful! It was also incredibly hot, but these two powered through that heat. They endured the blazing sun outside on the patio during their ceremony, and again during their portraits and bridal party photos, and in all black! The black tuxes and black dresses looked incredible so I think it was worth all the sweat. We had such a fun time with Daniel and Marie during their engagement session last year at Fonthill Castle and were really looking forward to working with them at their wedding this year. It was also the first time we’ve been to Hotel du Village so that was exciting as well, and we got to work with both Kelly Laustsen of Bloom Flower Co. and Mark Bryan of Mark Bryan Designs. There were tons of beautiful florals everywhere!
Our favorite moments consisted of watching Marie come down the aisle towards Daniel, although she struggled a bit as her veil kept getting pulled out of her hair as it snagged on the brick patio. It was a cute moment though. We loved seeing them smile for the entirety of their first dance together. They also threw an awesome dance party that consisted of all 25 or so guests on the dance floor. Who says you need 150+ people to have a killer reception?
We loved spending the day with you both and are so excited for your future together. We’re so glad you got to have your wedding despite some bumps in the road. Your day turned out so beautifully and we’re thrilled to share all the photos with you very soon. Your family and friends was so accommodating and so, so wonderful to be around. Everyone was so nice to us. Until then, we hope you enjoy this little sneak peek from your wedding at Hotel du Village.
