Joris + Julia had one heck of a wedding day last weekend! Their wedding at Philander Chase Knox Estate in Malvern, Pennsylvania was stunning! The venue is located right in Valley Forge National Park and has no shortage of beautiful views and locations. We’ve photographed a lot of engagement sessions and a few weddings here over the years and it’s one of our favorite spots to return to. On this particular day, we weren’t the photographers, but our associates, Ryan and Courtney, took the reins and captured Joris + Julia’s gorgeous wedding before handing the photos over to us to tackle the editing.
While we haven’t had the chance to get to know Joris and Julia, everything we’ve heard from Ryan and Courtney have been nothing but positive. It sounds like they’re incredibly kind, warm hearted people. And I know from the photos that they can throw a heck of a party! The dancing portion looked like the type of reception I want to be invited to. I also know that they love each other quite a lot. I can tell from the reactions during the first look. I can tell from the fact that Joris had to wipe tears from his eyes as Julia came down the aisle. And I can tell from the way they laugh together during their first dance. Ryan and Courtney did an awesome job capturing the love they share and we hope you can feel that love as you look through these photos.
