A Philander Chase Knox Estate Wedding in Valley Forge Park | Ryan + Ali

What. A. Wedding! Seriously, Ryan and Ali threw the most gorgeous wedding at The Philander Chase Knox Estate in Valley Forge Park on the perfect fall day in October. They chose a blue and burgundy color palette that was complimented by greens and light grays + neutrals. It wasn’t just the guys in blue, though. Ali tossed on a pair of perfect light blue heels that really upped every brides’ shoe game from here on out. What makes this wedding even more exciting is that Ali and I went to middle school together and the bridal party was filled with old friends and classmates who I don’t think I’ve seen since graduating high school nearly 10 years ago. It was so wonderful to celebrate this couple with them!

Choosing a favorite moment from this wedding isn’t all that difficult. I remember turning around after Ryan took his place at the front of the ceremony space waiting for Ali. Ryan looked so ready and excited, but first he had to wait for all of the bridal party to take their place beside him. Finally, Ali appeared at the end of the aisle and you could see Ryan trying to keep it together. When I turned back around to Ali, you could see that she was trying not to burst into emotions either. But my favorite part was the huge hug that Ryan gave her at the very beginning of their ceremony. It’s not something we see very often during ceremonies, either, and that’s why this one caught my attention. Ryan is so head over heels for Ali, and she is so in love with him. It was shown so very clearly during their ceremony and throughout their entire day and we couldn’t be happier for the two of them.
