Jesse + Olivia
Another Philander Chase Knox Estate wedding and this one did not disappoint! Jesse and Olivia had such a beautiful wedding day. Even though the rain fell during their ceremony, they were not phased and continued committing themselves to one another. It was so wonderful to witness. Olivia’s grandfather officiated their ceremony which added a personal touch to their wedding. We love when people close to the couple are the officiant. We’re seeing it more and more often nowadays. The rest of the day was filled with so much fun, laughter, and dancing!
Jesse and Olivia are two of the most relaxed, easy-going, and lovely people. They bring such great energy and instantly welcome you in. It’s an extension of their families and how they were raised. I mean Olivia’s mom offered us food about 6 times before we decided to just take a seat for a moment and eat a breakfast burrito, which by the way, was one of the best breakfast burritos we’ve ever had. Anyway, I digress. Their families were so sweet and welcoming to us. It’s always our goal to feel more like friends than hired photographers and we certainly were treated like family rather than wedding vendors. A huge thank you to everyone who treated us so nicely! It means so much to us because it isn’t always the norm.
We loved watching Jesse’s reaction to seeing his bride for the first time on the wedding day. His eyes lit up and so did his smile. It stayed that way throughout the entirety of their ceremony, especially when Olivia came down the aisle. Their wedding was just so wonderful and at a gorgeous venue. We’ve shot at Philander Chase Knox a few times and it’s always such a joy to work here.
