Winter Wedding at Union Trust Ballroom

We had the privilege of photographing Drew & Patty’s winter wedding at Union Trust Ballroom this past weekend, and it was so gorgeous! The weather was the best you could ask for in February with a high of 60 degrees which meant we got to photograph a ton of photos outside after their ceremony at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church. We shot around Old City for a while before heading over to Union Trust Ballroom for cocktail hour. The room was glowing with candlelight as tons of food was offered to guests on the balcony above the ballroom. Guests then took their seats for the entrance and Drew & Patty entered on the upper balcony. A spotlight hit them as they entered and sparklers erupted around them as their guests cheered from down below. And then the celebration started. It was a stunning wedding day for two people who deserve nothing less.

Choosing a favorite moment from the day is always so difficult. Narrowing it down to one thing is almost impossible since there are so many moments we captured. We loved seeing Patty fight back tears as her dad and best friend gave their toasts. Of course, we also loved seeing their giant smiles as they were pronounced husband and wife, which was a pretty constant thing throughout the day. They were full of smiles at pretty much every moment. Watching Patty laugh with her dad in the car on the way to the ceremony was cute, and seeing Drew and his twin Nick goof around during getting ready and portraits put a smile on our faces. Their friends and family were so kind, wonderful, and welcoming. It was a beautiful day that we would photograph all over again if given the chance simply because of how much fun we had with this group.

You’re both so kind, made us feel so welcome as friends on your wedding day, and had us smiling the entire time. Thank you for trusting us with your photos.
