Colin & Alli
Alli and Colin’s Philadelphia wedding was the definition of timeless elegance. From their heartfelt ceremony to the energetic dance floor, every moment reflected their love story perfectly.
Their story began at Penn State, where they both played lacrosse and were involved in THON. They hit it off immediately, even when distance tested them. Shortly after they started dating, Colin spent six months studying abroad in Ireland. When they graduated, Alli moved to Philadelphia while Colin headed to New York, but their connection never faded.
Last September, their story came full circle. While walking through Central Park, Colin proposed. Afterward, they celebrated with dinner and a surprise gathering of friends at a nearby pub. It was the perfect start to their next chapter.
A Classic Black Tie Wedding at Ballroom at the Ben
On their wedding day, both got ready at The Logan Hotel. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement and laughter as Alli’s bridesmaids wore stunning mocha brown dresses, perfectly complementing the groomsmen’s classic black tuxes. The short walk across the street led to their beautiful ceremony at Cathedral Basilica, a breathtaking space that added grandeur to their vows.
After the ceremony, we captured family and bridal party portraits in Logan Square before heading to Old City. The historic architecture of the Second Bank and Merchant Exchange made a timeless backdrop for their portraits. The two looked absolutely radiant, effortlessly blending sophistication with genuine emotion.
Their reception at Ballroom at the Ben carried the same refined energy. White and green florals filled the space, creating a chic and romantic setting. Guests mingled during cocktail hour before moving into a night of heartfelt toasts, emotional parent dances, and one unforgettable party. The dance floor stayed packed all night, and the dessert spread was nothing short of incredible.
From start to finish, Alli and Colin’s day felt intentional, elegant, and full of life. Photographing their wedding was an absolute joy—a celebration of not only their love, but the journey that brought them together.
