Philadelphia Wedding Photographers
Thousands of photos were delivered in 2025, but today we’re sharing 200 documentary wedding photos from 2025! This year was incredible! It was filled with so many incredible weddings and wonderful couples! We took on 21 weddings, delivered thousands of printed photos, and photographed a lot more film. Narrowing everything down to just 200 photos from weddings in 2025 is impossible, but these are just a few of our favorite, mostly candid and unposed photographs from the year. We fell in love with our work more than ever before, and we are so excited to see what 2026 holds!
Some Stats
- First wedding was March 29th
- Last wedding was December 27th
- 21 weddings documented
- 6 weddings as a second shooter (none of those images are in this blog)
- ~27,000 edited photos delivered across all weddings and sessions
- ~135,000 photos taken throughout all of 2025
- We documented weddings mainly in the Philly area this year.
- The furthest wedding was 233 miles away in Virginia at Early Mountain Vineyards.
- The closest wedding was 6.3 miles away at Philander Chase Knox Estate in Valley Forge Park
Our work shifted more into documentary-style photography, but added a dash of editorial vibes where we could. We focused on capturing as many real moments over posed imagery. We implemented more 35mm film and medium format film into our portfolio this year and will be shooting much more of that in 2026. We are very drawn to black and white imagery. You’ll see a lot of photos in black and white below because we believe it preserves timeless moments, drawing your eye to the emotion present in the photo rather than distracting you from color, decor, and other elements of the scene.
We were inspired by a photography book by John Dolan called The Perfect Imperfect, which breaks his work into 3 parts: Preparation, Unification, and Celebration. We decided to adopt this same structure to share our favorite wedding photographs from 2025.
