A Cloudy Engagement at Lancaster County Central Park

Christina & Kiefer did a wonderful job at their engagement session last weekend at Lancaster County Central Park! It’s a super cool area that has a creek, fields, forests, a covered bridge and an old estate, Rockford Plantation! We photographed an engagement session here 2 years ago, but this time we got to explore a bit more! We had an awesome time wandering around the park and chatting. We’re super excited to get the chance to shoot their wedding at Moonstone Manor later this September! These two are so sweet, laid back and easy to talk to! Needless to say, we had an awesome time with them and captured some really awesome images of the two of them at Lancaster County Central Park!

Their Engagement Story

Kiefer & Christina hopped in the car and were on their way to the Penn state vs Ohio state football game for their 2 year anniversary. Kiefer wanted to head up early to grab some photos in front of the Nittany Lion statue. They waited and waited, but it was finally their turn. They walked up to the Statue and suddenly Kiefer was down on one knee looking at Christina. He said, “Babe, we have been together for 2 years and I can’t see myself spending my life with anyone else.” Christina was shocked and immediately said yes! People were taking photos and applauding, but Kiefer told Christina to look at one of the cameras in the crowd. Behind it was her sister and best friend! They had driven up for the proposal! Christina was beyond happy to share this moment with some of the most important people in her life! To make the day even better, Penn State ended up beating Ohio State! Afterwards, the group immediately grabbed some food as Christina, her best friend and sister started to plan the beginnings of their wedding!
