A Valley Forge Engagement
We had the greatest time with these two at their engagement session in Valley Forge! It seemed like we didn’t stop laughing for the entirety of their shoot as if we had known them for years! We love when that happens! Time really flew by! Matt & Eleanor are the sweetest couple and were up for anything we threw at them, like getting in the creek and doing an awesome lift! Seriously, we’ve wanted to photograph a couple in this creek at Valley Forge for so long and they were so willing to get it that it actually surprised us! They are so much fun to be around and their laughter is infectious. They’re just great people to be around!
Their Engagement Story:
Matt and Eleanor celebrated their 3 year anniversary on January 31st. They planned on keeping it simple (or so Eleanor thought ). The original plan was to just go out to a nice dinner and enjoy each other’s company, but Matt had other plans. A few hours before their dinner reservations, Matt handed Eleanor some puzzle pieces and suggested they do a puzzle for a little bit. Since Eleanor is so oblivious (her words, not ours!) she said, “Oh sure, that sounds fun!” They began solving the puzzle and Eleanor realized that it was a personalized puzzle that Matt had made for her! There were clearly some pieces missing though. Matt handed her a clue and she embarked on a scavenger hunt to find the remaining pieces. Once she found them and finished the puzzle, she saw that it wrote out “Will you marry me?” When she turned around, Matt was already on his knee with the ring and a huge smile on his face!
