Back in New Hope, PA for some engagement photos this week with Patrick & Shannon! This is one of the cutest little towns in all of PA (granted I haven’t visited them all, but is certainly adorable). Lots of shops, coffee and ice cream along the main roadway that runs parallel to the Delaware river. It’s a beautiful town especially during autumn when the leaves are crunchy orange and red. Pat and Shannon were so much fun to photograph. We chatted all about their wedding plans, their life together and just random things. I love photograph couples who are so easy going and can chat about anything, and who don’t shame me when I tell them I’m reading Harry Potter for the first time. They were up for anything and I loved that!
We met a party out senior year of high school and hit it off instantly (or so I imagined in my head). I had a crush on Pat right away, but he took some coming around to me as he says he didn’t want to start anything serious our senior year of high school since we would both be going to different colleges. We flirted back and forth all year, even going to prom with each other’s best friends. Eventually, we realized we were kidding ourselves and started dating and we’ve been together ever since. Pat proposed on May 12, 2018. Pat and I took a walk at a park we like to run in often. He stopped me on one the path and asked me to marry him!
Thank you for trusting me with you photographs. It was such a fun shoot with you both. We cannot wait for your wedding next year and to show you the rest of these photos in a few weeks, but until then, we hope you enjoy some of our favorites from your engagement session!
