Mike + Sara
Two of the sweetest people got married last weekend. Mike and Sara’s wedding at Hotel Bethlehem was so beautiful. This was our first time shooting at this venue, but not our first time shooting in the Bethlehem area. We’ve done a handful of engagement sessions around here, including Mike and Sara’s engagement session at Lehigh University. It just so happened that Harvest Fest was happening at the same time as their wedding. That meant that the entire street in front of Hotel Bethlehem was shut down and tons of people were outside. We didn’t realize just how many people were there until we took them outside for their first look and portraits. As Sara wandered through the streets in a huge, beautiful wedding gown, she was getting applause, cheers, and congratulations. Everyone loves a bride and she looked incredible!
We loved their first look and most of all, their vows to one another. Their first look was so sweet and we instantly saw them calm down and their nerves drift away. That’s the magic of the first look. They immediately became so much more comfortable because they were finally together sharing in their day. Even more wonderful than their first look was their vows. We’ve heard our fair share of vows and promises made. After 140+ weddings, Mike and Sara’s will go down as some of the best we’ve ever heard. I mean we were fighting back some tears behind camera because they were absolutely beautiful. You could feel the love in the room buzzing from the electricity of their love and happiness.
